SAME DORKS

LOVE THE SHOP BUT HATE THE PARKING? Join the club, bud! Er... no. Leave the club! 'Cause we have news for you!

We've made a big move - literally - in order to serve ya'll better. We finally have accessible parking for our buds who need it. So much parking. Loads!

A circular sticker on a solid yellow background features an illustrated logo for "Old Post Friendly Barbers." The artwork depicts the original barbershop location, a two-story wooden building with a front porch, detailed windows, and signage. Parked in front are two vintage pickup trucks, one yellow and one white. Below the illustration is the tagline, “Great haircuts… lousy parking,” along with a phone number in a small yellow oval.

don't be
a dick.

We take great pride providing a space place, a slick cut, and maybe even a laugh or two in these tryin' times.

Inclusivity is a core value at the shop. Everyone is welcome here - just don't be a dick. No judgement. No nonsense. Just good hangs and great haircuts. The end.

And by ‘operating,’ we mean business hours — fun fact though: barbers used to perform minor medical procedures like stitching wounds, pulling teeth, and even bloodletting... with LEECHES!

LAUGHS WORTH A BIT OF EXTRA GAS

After spending many years searching for a barber shop that I could call home, I finally found The Old Post! Being a woman who loves having a clean fresh fade, finding a barbershop that was welcoming was surprisingly a challenge.

After my first cut, I knew this was the place I'd been searching for. Tim and Bobby greeted me with warm welcomes and happy faces. Every cut is like visiting friends who always have stories to tell.

Besides the inclusive, safe and friendly atmosphere, these guys know how to give a fresh cut in a clean space. I happily make the 30 minute drive every couple weeks to their shop because it's worth it.

LOCAL CUTS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

I had been looking for a professional barber shop for years, so when I heard there was a new shop opening in Enfield close to home I was very happy.

After just one appointment I knew I had found the perfect spot. Bob was not only professional but made me feel like I was family. I used to hate going to get a haircut, but now I look forward to all my appointments at Old Post. The atmosphere that Bob and Tim create is fantastic.

Bob and Tim are truly at the top of their trade with skill and knowledge of products and hair care. I would highly recommend Bob and The Old Post Barber shop to anyone.  Both of my sons are clients as well.

NEVER GOIN' ANYWHERE ELSE

Absolutely outstanding, I'm never going anywhere else. Besides the haircut, it was the most pleasant experience I've had at a barber without exception. Bobby was easy to talk to, accommodating in every way, and I always felt he was genuinely pleased to be helping me get what I was looking for. He was welcoming and friendly from the first moment to the last.

But I can't review a barber without mentioning the haircut. Bobby is an artist and a master of his craft. His passion radiates from every inch of his shop and from the man himself. He is patient and careful, with an expert hand. His philosophy of cutting hair (yeah, we went there) made me feel more comfortable walking out of his shop than I ever have in my life. 12/10, don't even hesitate.

SO NICE IT's NEARLY ANNOYING

Bobby’s shop feels like the clubhouse you'd have killed for as a kid in the ’90s - it's a time capsule of collectables and nostalgic trinkets and might as well have a “no jerks allowed” sign on the door, to boot.

I met Bobby over  a decade ago playing music, and he’s no different in his shop than he is behind the drums. You'd almost love to hate because he’s effortlessly better than you at everything, then you find out he’s also the sweetest kid in the room.  Dude looks like he drives a lumber truck and rocks a "f*ck with my friends and we're flippin' tables" vibe. A guy so solid, it's annoying.

COMMunity shop worth visiting

I’ve been a customer of Bobby’s since he opened up shop in Enfield. The thing about Bobby is that he’s exactly what you want and need in a Barber. He’s professional and takes his craft seriously, but he’s a super laid back dude who is great to chat with.

He is invested in the community and supports other local small businesses. His prices are fair and reflect his work.If you haven’t tried The Old Post Barbershop you should next time you need a lil cleaning up.

Best in the maritimes

Best of the best. Bobby is a master of his craft and you won't find an experience like it in Atlantic Canada.

I've been seeing him for years and would recommend him to absolutely everyone.

If you are on the fence give him a shot, you'll never leave with anything but the best haircut you've ever had. In this image I have a razer fade. Takes 5 minutes to style, minimal product.

MAGIC HAIRCUTS

I had gone 18 months without a haircut after my barber retired, I found Bobby highly recommended online and felt confident he would do a great job.

Let me tell you what, I look like a million bucks, the man is a wizard, took me from vagabond to VIP in one hour. 100% going to be a regular at Old Post.

TEENS THINK We're cool!!!!!

Our 14 yr old will ONLY go to Bobby Webb (owner of The Old Post Barbershop) now.

Our son is extremely picky about his hair. We are so happy to have Bobby in East Hants, excellent Interpersonal Skills, Artwork, Skills and Prices. Highly recommend.

Bobby

A former full-time musician, Bobby’s love for music and the arts is on full display at the shop in the form of what he calls “reminders of when he was cool”; posters and tributes to some of his favourite musicians and artists as well as some familiar classic “nerd” stuff adorning the walls. Bobby genuinely wants you to leave his shop with the feeling that you just left a friend’s place.

Everyone is welcome at old post barbershop. Inclusivity is a core value at the shop. No judgement, no nonsense, just good haircuts, and bad dad jokes.

Tim

With a passion for precision and a dedication to the craft, Tim embarked on his barbering journey in 2015 as an eager apprentice in Dartmouth. Under the guidance of seasoned barbers, he honed his skills and developed a keen eye for detail and a focus on exceeding expectations

In 2023, Tim found his home at old post and set his focus on a singular mission - to ensure that every customer feels truly welcome when they walk in, and they have a haircut they absolutely love when they walk out.
